M/s Three Star Publications was initially started in the year 1980 by its two partners Mr. Satya Pal Mehta and Mr. Vijay Sharma. They started the publication of educational children books for nursery and primary level as per the syllabus of NCERT and CBSE. The company flourished with leaps and bounds and soon completed the range of 100 titles within a period of 5-6 years. In the year 1987, another sister concern was started in the name of M/s Rainbow Publishing House with its two partners Mr. Vipin Mehta son of Mr.Satya Pal Mehta and Mrs. Neelam Jyoti Sharma Wife of Mr. Vijay Sharma. Both the Companies did well in their field and became renowned publishing houses in the field of Publications. They were recognized at the national level and most of the progressive schools adopted their titles.

In the year 1998, both the companies Three star Publications and Rainbow Publishing House were merged into one company named Three Star Publications (P) Ltd. with its four Directors - Mr. Satya Pal Mehta, Mr. Vijay Sharma, Mr. Vipin Mehta and Mrs. Neelam Jyoti Sharma.

Howsoever, because of the ill health one Director Mr. Satya Pal Mehta withdrew himself in 2003 and new director Mrs. Poonam Mehta wife of Mr. Vipin Mehta was introduced into the present company.

The said company M/s Three Star Publications (P) Ltd. with its four Directors namely- Mr. Vijay Sharma, Mr. Vipin Mehta, Mrs. Neelam Jyoti Sharma and Mrs. Poonam Mehta has been working for the social cause of Child Education by producing quality educational books on the economic prices. The main aim of the company is to provide better quality educational material at the reasonable prices to the young scholars and not much interested in the excess profits. Most of the books published by this company are extremely good and provide the factual knowledge to the budding scholars of the progressive schools of India.
